ABOUT ME:

I love to move and also to move people to become inspired to manifest change by revealing the artist in each in order to create the design of their own life. I do this through my writings, photography, and things that inspire me each day.

I’ve written quite a bit about helping creative entrepreneurs to live a healthy, and stress-free life.

I engage in a artful life of dance, design, photography and writing. I have a love of all of the arts and nature. (Hopefully you’ll see this reflected in my work in all of these areas.)

MY BACKGROUND

Having been a life-long student of dance from age six, I graduated with a BS in Dance Education (with a minor in fine arts). Everything was humming along in my life. I kept up my studies in modern, ballet, jazz, and yoga. After moving to NYC I added voice and acting to my repertoire while continuing to perform in dance productions. Some of the dance techniques I studied took their cue from the breath–where the movement flowed out from it. Alexander Technique also taught me the importance of proper alignment AND efficiency of motion.

These days, I am still dancing (addicted to Zumba!).

As well as continuing to write, I have revisited my interest in the fine arts and expanded it to the areas of beauty, photography, design, and all arts in general.*

I  still believe and practice the power and benefits of the practice of deep breathing–whether for a few minutes at a time to longer, more in-depth full body deep relaxation practice. The applications of these techniques are useful to any place or situation and can, literally, transform your life as well as help you to use your energy in a more efficient, productive way. With an open mind and the belief in the power of one to heal themselves, you too can learn to relax again!
